The Benefits of Anger/Stress Management
Anger is an emotion that we all show at one time or another, sometimes in a positive manner, but often we display anger and stress in a negative manner, Anger can actually serve some important functions, particularly that of moving us to action when things need changing in our lives. Thus if we were programmed not to show anger we would in fact be suppressing that emotion causing stress or 'blowing up' at inopportune times and causing even more problems than if we had expressed anger in healthy ways. The goal of anger management is twofold: to eliminate unnecessary anger, and to express necessary anger in healthy ways. Which in turn enables one to enjoy healthier relationships and have less stress in ones life.
