Le Monde Nouveau proudly presents The Academy of Mediumistic Studies (AMS). The Academy provides an exquisite environment for the development of ones own inner spirit (The Living Spirit). Providing a high standard of education in Healing, Intuition, Spirit release, Psychic development and Mediumship - working with spiritual awareness, Angels, Guides, Ascended Masters and much more. The Academy offers on-going classes as well as one-day workshops, seminars, lectures and demonstrations of Spirit communication. We provide a wide and varied range of courses, development and awareness groups with professional tuition for the beginner and the more experienced alike.
The Academy of Mediumistic Studies is based on old concept's in self and spiritual development. Over many years the traditional approach to spiritual communication has been lost. The Academy has produced a unique teaching format - into self-awareness, mediumistic and psychic development, with the use of modern teachings based on old school mediumship as taught by the late Miss Eileen Roberts. The Academy lends to the everyday person, and not just that of Mediums. Our workshops are not just for the developing Psychic Medium or the practicing Spiritualist, but also for all those who are on their own individual spiritual path. We are here, to help you understand and develop your natural awareness irrelevant of knowledge or experience.
The Academy has the belief that all are equal and that it is prevalent on each individuals spiritual journey. On this basis we are then able to help one another to develop on a day-to-day basis. 'You never stop learning!' is something we firmly believe in, and as you progress on your journey of spiritual enlightenment you will see just how true that statement is. We work with all levels - whether you are just stepping on your spiritual journey or you have been travelling the path for a number of years. Through our courses taught by dedicated and loyal students of Spirit you will sense an immense change in your personal beliefs and those (spiritually) around you. There will always be the need for the knowledge of ones life to be exercised as a tool of learning that is why you will find, that with us, we will draw on life's experiences, with a contribution from Spirit to enhance your desire for spiritual awakening and wisdom. Our courses will teach you the mechanics of communication with its many variants, which a 'key' ingredient.
As students of the Academy you will see that we come from all walks of life and when not passing on Spirit's teaching at the Academy - we are serving Spirit by doing 1-2-1 readings, Healing, holding Circles and demonstrating on 'Platform' at Spiritual Centres and Churches worldwide.
The wonderful thing about the Academy is all that we do is done with the love for and from Spirit and because we want to do it - not that we have to do it.
Our courses are designed with those two principles in mind. We accept that your spiritual path is just that and you must take it at a pace you are comfortable with. We will cover the pitfalls and misconceptions within the field of spiritualism. It is up to the individual to decide just how much one need or wants to take on board - it is all down to choice...your choice but coveted with the love from fellow Academics and Spirit.
The Sanctuary of The 'Living Spirit'
The Sanctuary of The Living Spirit provides Funeral services, Wedding services, christenings and blessing as well as bereavement counselling.The sanctuary provides an empathetic, caring, comfortable and uplifting atmosphere within a friendly and family orientated environment.
Our aims and objectives, to provide 'the little things in life' for those who feel they have no one to turn to-we provide friendship with back up and support. Our sanctuary open to all irrespective of creed, colour, gender and abilities - we provide a community whereas people arrive as a strangers and leave as friends. Our sanctuary relies on the support of donations from the public sector.
We arrange charitable events for the smaller organisations and charities, raising financial support so they can continue with their work for the community. As to date we have supported: -
- The Essex Police
- The London Fire Brigade
- Animal Sanctuaries
- Local Dance school's
- Senior Citizen Afternoon clubs
- Help with veterinary bills for senior citizens animals
- Financial support for the young in full time education, who do not fall in the category of financial help from the government
It is from ones experience that suffering and pain are, unfortunately, the great character builders-not that suffering is good in itself, but because it often helps to shift our expectation of happiness from without to a search for it from within....Happiness is primarily an inner state, an inner achievement. Thus the Kingdom of Heaven is within us Suffering may be the means whereby we achieve self understanding. In the measure that we achieve self-understanding we are able to reach out with understanding others. Happiness is not found in the pursuit of things or in the possession of things. It comes from living and giving, from suffering and participation in the suffering of others.
The Role of the Sanctuary
We are continously trying to raise funds for our premises, so that we can open our doors more frequently during the week, to be able to provide a community forum for the young, vulnerable and the elderly, to help and support their needs. We provide bereavment counselling, counselling in all areas, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, stress and anger management and acceptance. We work with other counselling charities providing professional help and support by giving several hours free each week, one to one and telephone.
We provide Pastrol care and guidance, as well as being a member of the Interfaith Forum (national).All funds raised go to keeping our doors open, and providing support to other charities throughout the country.
Our team consist from the very young through to the senior citizens (from 7yrs - 80's)

- We believe that the highest morality is contained in the golden rule 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'
- We affirm the moral responsibility of the individual, and that we make our own happiness or un-happiness as we obey or dis-obey natures physical and universal laws.
- We affirm the doorway to reformation is never closed against any soul here or hereafter
