Life Coaching is an alliance between client and coach
where the coach gives power back to the client. Life coaching helps the
client to have a realisation that they in fact know the answers to
every question or challenge they may have in their life, knowing that
some answers may be obscured, concealed or hidden inside. The client,
is the only expert in relation to who truly knows who they are and what
they need. By harnessing specialist techniques based on core
psychological principles and natural intuition, life coaches provide
clients with the tools to confidently face difficult situations, push
past emotional barriers and eventually view life with fresh, hopeful
and enlightened eyes. Life Coaching is a profession that is different
from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counselling. The
coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business
successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal
life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right
now, and uncovering any obstacles or challenges, then choosing a course
of action to help the client to achieve a better life, better future.
life coaching has a different approach from other therapies, as it puts
emphasis on teaching or coaching to the client. This is the fundamental
approach of Life coaching.
